Trevoh Chalobah emulated his sibling Nathaniel in playing for England, becoming the twenty-first pair of brothers to be selected for the England side.

Trevoh Chalobah is expected to link up with the Three Lions selection to cover for unavailable Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi.

The 26-year-old is set to join the national side for England's final World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania, although it has yet to be confirmed.

The England team have already secured qualification for the upcoming tournament.

Chalobah earned his maiden selection under England manager Thomas Tuchel in May and then played his first game against Senegal.

In the month of September, Tuchel stated Chalobah was unfortunate to be excluded from the selection for qualifying games against Serbia and Andorra, and also didn't call him up for the following October matches.

Tuchel has been an key figure in Chalobah's career, having handed him his Chelsea first-team bow in 2021.

Chalobah has appeared in nearly all fixtures for Chelsea this season, with the team in third place in the Premier League, in the Carabao Cup last eight and in the league phase of the European competition.

Guehi picked up a foot problem in Crystal Palace's Conference League victory over the Dutch side in their last match.

There are set to be additional inclusions to the team. Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has announced that both winger Anthony Gordon (hip injury) and goalkeeper Nick Pope (concussion symptoms) will be unavailable from the England setup.
