The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
