Assassin's Creed Introduces Surprising AoT Crossover for Holiday Season
In a surprising partnership that defies usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized release, "An unusual meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden sect.
The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Extra Material
Players who finish the mission will obtain an unique katana in addition to several artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
